Hello and welcome to this months devlog.

Tough to crack bugs.

A big chunk of past month was spent fixing mission-critical weapon bugs related to shooting and reloading weapons that caused game crashes. While tedious and draining @Encodic did manage to squish them, allowing us to proceed forward with developing other important features that need to be worked on before we can start play-testing the game.

Weapon attachement/modification system

@Encodic began working on the weapon attachement system. The dev team had a meeting regarding how the system will function internally (meaning how it will be coded) and we’re setting the system itself to be rather flexible and allow a great deal of creativity in terms of what can be done.

The system includes visible attachments, such as bayonets, as well as invisible weapon modifications such as triggers, barrel, firing mechanism (much like in H&G).

We are, however, greatly interested in what you feel like the system should look, work and feel like! Please give us your ideas in # |general channel or through the # |suggestions forum!

We’re looking for more developers interested in joining the team!

Considering how well progress is going we feel very confident about the project and would like to expand our team size so things could get done faster! We currently have open positions for:

3D Artist.

We are looking for a 3D artist, primairly for the purpose of creating weapon models and textures. Ability to create environmental props and buildings is a bonus.

Animator.

We are looking for an animator to help bring our game to life with detailed animations. This includes characters and weapons alike!

If you are interested in joining the team, please create a ticket using the Ticket Tool’s new option in # support or contact me directly through DMs.

That’s it for this devlog. Please give lots of love and support to @Encodic as he is currently going through a bit of a rough time and could use some TLC. Tell us what you think in # |general and stay tuned for more updates :)
