Game Experience, Level Design, Animations and Modelling

Hello @everyone!
I hope you’ve all had (or are having!) a great summer!
While the heat in my country may have been a bit intolerable this year and the AC had to work pretty much 24/7 we all managed to survive.
@Cptnight00 is back in action and is already making progress on making more models, Ellie finished up the Gameplay Experience system and got sent of to walk across Europe in order to do field research had a lovely holiday, @Levi has been making progress on back-end systems that will handle logging in and accounts across our systems and @Encodic has been finalising the Weapon Equipment system and working on the animation system!
Gameplay Experience System
The Gameplay Experience System is one of the fundamental building blocks of the game.
It takes the data sent from the RTS and makes sure the FPS game has the correct gamemode, time of day, weather and resources when you join and play.
@Ellie made a fantastic video over at # |work-in-progress that goes over it’s functionality if you’d like to learn more about it, but essentially it allows us to have a dynamic and adjustable in-game experience (no pun intended).

Backend Systems
@Levi has been working on some backend systems that are neccesary to handle player accounts for the game and across the website, allowing us to have a unified experiance where a single account will let you access the game, forums, support website and anything else we may develop that requires you to log-in.
Weapon Equipment System
The Weapon Equipment System that @Encodic has been working on is in charge of making sure your character spawns in with the correct pieces of equipment in correct slots as well as swap them out properly if you pick up a weapon on the field.
Weapon animation System
Aside from working on the Equipment System @Encodic was also busy with creating a system that handles weapon animations!

I apologise for the lack of a devlog last month.
Things were super busy as I had to deal with some really important government paperwork, new furniture arriving and making my appartment a mess of boxes and furniture to be assembled as well as getting sick with COVID. We’re already working on a solution for handling these types of situations and making sure we can consistently post devlogs each month ;)
That’s it for this month’s devlog, I’ve started working on the map but that’s very early in development so there’s not much to show at the moment.
